Content Moderation Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2025

1. Scope & Objectives

This Policy applies to user activity and user-generated content across our products, including Image Generation, Video Generation, AI Chatbot, and the Community Explore Feed. The primary objectives are to (a) reduce the creation and distribution of prohibited content, (b) detect and address potential violations in a timely manner, (c) provide channels for reporting and appeals, and (d) adapt safeguards over time.

2. Multi-Layered Framework

Our moderation approach uses multiple layers, including automated tools, community reporting, and human review, supported by engineering and legal processes.

  • Automated moderation (AI vision and text processing) to help prevent and detect violations.
  • Community reporting through in-product flagging on posted content.
  • Human moderation team with case management, enforcement tools, and escalation channels.
  • Direct removal requests via our dedicated Complaints and Contact form.
  • DMCA process for copyright owners pursuant to our DMCA Policy.

3. Automated AI Moderation

We use AI systems to scan prompts, outputs, and uploads at the point of creation or submission. These systems are designed to identify content that may fall within prohibited categories.

  • AI Vision & Text Processing: Models assess content for categories such as CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, hate, extreme violence, bestiality, and other violations described in our Terms of Service.
  • Preventive blocking: Where risk indicators are triggered, generation or display may be blocked before delivery.
  • Ongoing updates: We periodically adjust detection thresholds, introduce new classifiers, and refine coverage against emerging abuse patterns.

4. Community Moderation

Community members are encouraged to flag potential violations for review.

  • Flagging: Every posted item includes a report/flag option that queues the content for review.
  • Privacy: Reporters can submit flags without disclosing their identity to the uploader.

5. Human Moderation Team

Trained moderators review flagged and site-wide content for potential violations of this Policy and our Terms of Service. Moderators may also take proactive steps when necessary.

  • Tools: Moderators use internal dashboards for triage, evidence capture, and logging.
  • Enforcement: Actions may include content removal and account suspension or termination. Enforcement reasons are logged for internal monitoring and system improvements.
  • Engineering escalation: Newly identified loopholes or vulnerabilities are escalated to development teams for remediation.

6. Content Removal Requests

Users and third parties may request review through designated channels.

  • How to contact us: Visit our Content Removal page or submit an online Content Removal Request Form.
  • Timeliness: We aim to respond to valid requests within 48 hours, subject to applicable law, volume, and operational constraints.

7. DMCA & Copyright

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on our platform without authorization, please follow the process described in our DMCA Policy. Notices meeting statutory requirements will be processed in accordance with applicable law.

8. Strictly Prohibited Content

We prohibit the creation, sharing, or dissemination of the following (non-exhaustive list). Additional restrictions are set forth in our Terms of Service.

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including AI-generated CSAM.
  • Non-consensual deepfake or intimate imagery.
  • Sexual acts involving animals (bestiality).
  • Extreme or graphic violence depicting death, torture, or mutilation.
  • Content violating privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights, or otherwise unlawful.

Violations may result in account suspension or termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

9. Transparency & Records

We log moderation actions and review aggregate data to improve detection coverage and reduce false positives and negatives.

10. Continuous Improvement & Escalation

Content moderation is an evolving challenge. We conduct periodic audits, consider community feedback, and update models and rules. Identified gaps are escalated to engineering for remediation.

11. Privacy in Moderation

Reporter information and moderation data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Access to moderation tools and logs is limited to authorized personnel.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
