How to Use Promptchan

1. Welcome to Promptchan

Promptchan is where you design your dream AI girlfriend and bring her to life, as images, as videos, and as someone you can actually talk to. It's an uncensored, no-filter studio, so whatever you picture, you can create it. You bring the imagination; the AI does the hard part.

This guide is the quick tour. No experience needed, just an idea and a few minutes.

2. Where It All Happens

Everything starts on the Create page. The idea is simple: describe what you want, shape the look with a few taps, and hit generate. Your creations land right there in front of you, ready to save, share, or build on.

You can start for free, just make an account and you'll get a handful of gems to play with straight away.

3. Describe What You Want

Tell Promptchan what you're picturing in plain words, "a woman on a beach at sunset, soft light, smiling." The more vivid you are, the closer it lands (and yes, you can tell it what to leave out, too).

Great prompts are a bit of an art, and we wrote a whole guide on it, well worth a read once you've found your feet.

4. Choose Her Style

Style sets the whole mood, lifelike and photoreal, soft anime, hyperreal, painterly, you name it. Browse the looks and pick whatever speaks to you. Realistic and anime styles are free to start with, and the higher-detail models open up as you upgrade.

5. Make Her Yours

This is the fun part, where she really becomes your AI girlfriend. Pose her, set the scene, choose her expression, and fine-tune her look with a few simple sliders. Drop on a filter for a cinematic, vintage, or cyberpunk feel. A handful of taps and she's exactly who you had in mind.

6. Bring Her to Life

Hit generate and there she is. Love the result? Make a few more, download your favorites, or keep the same face and build a whole series with her. You can even carry her into a chat and actually talk to her.

Want to direct the shot? The advanced settings let you push the quality higher, create a few variations at once, and dial in how closely the AI follows your words. None of it's required, the defaults look great, but it's there when you want more control.

7. Tweak a Favorite Result

If an image is almost right, use Tweak instead of starting over. Open the action menu on a result, choose Tweak, then describe the change you want, like a different outfit, background, pose, or lighting. Keep the instruction short and specific; small edits usually work best.

8. Gems & Membership

Promptchan runs on gems, think of them as your creative fuel. Roughly one per image, a few more for the fancier stuff. New accounts get some free, and your membership tops you up every month.
